|
Pasta Plus 123 Concord Plaza St. Louis, MO 63128 This is a casual Italian place that serves all of the Italian favorites. They serve all of the usual favorites like, spaghetti, fettuccini and pizza. At this place you order at the counter and they bring your food to you when it is ready. Prices are reasonable, and they bring the food out fairly quick. I had the baked mostaccioli and it cost about $6.50. The mostaccioli came with a slice of provolone cheese baked on top. I would eat at this place again, but I would try the pizza next time. |

P’sghetti’s Pasta and Sandwiches Phone: 314-849-5334 3340 Lindbergh Blvd St. Louis, MO 63123 Psghetti’s Pasta and Sandwiches is a small family place in South County. They are best known for their bread that has a little sweetness to it. It is different but it makes their sandwiches and garlic bread taste so good. This place has all of the Italian pasta favorites from, spaghetti, mostaccioli, garlic bread. In addition to those they also have pizza bread, roast beef sandwiches, sub sandwiches, toasted raviolis, and much more. P’sghetti’s is a place where you order at the counter and then they will call your number when your food is ready. I ordered the hot roast beef sandwich with a side of au jus. The bread makes this sandwich unlike any other roast beef sandwich. The sandwich is very cheesy and very good.
Prices: Prices are reasonable for the food you get. An order of pasta is less than five dollars and you can get a side of garlic bread for a couple of bucks. I recommend going to P’sghetti’s and getting something with the bread. |

Cunetto House of Pasta—Feature Restaurant of the Week for July 15, 2007 5453 Magnolia Ave. St. Louis, MO 63139 Cunetto House of Pasta is located in the heart of “The Hill” in St. Louis. We arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday night. Cunetto’s does not take reservations so we had to wait for an hour to be seated. It was not a bad wait, there were tables outside available to sit and have a drink. There was also a bar inside where they had cocktail waitresses serving drinks. Once we had our table the service was very quick.
I had the toasted raviolis, house salad, and the fettuccini carbonara. The toasted raviolis were just like any other toasted raviolis around St. Louis, but the meat sauce that came along with them was great. The house salad was very good it had a house Italian dressing and was covered in prosciutto and fresh parmesan cheese, not the powder kind. The best part was the Fettuccini Carbonara. This was a ton of fettuccini pasta covered in a cream sauce and prosciutto. The cream sauce was terrific. It was buttery and creamy at the same time. Since there was so much food the fettuccini was even better the next day. I also had Linguini Tuto Mare. This was a pile of linguine mixed with a butter sauce, crab, shrimp, clams, and shrimp. This would be a seafood lovers dream. The Tuto Mare is good, but I suggest ordering the Fettuccini Carbonara.
Prices: Prices were not bad for what we had. We had an appetizer , four beers, two salads, and two dishes of pasta, all for $50. I recommend going to this place. I can’t wait to go back again. |

Imo’s Pizza—Multiple Locations, Find Locations Imo’s Pizza is, and has been a St. Louis favorite for a long time. They have other good food as well. They have sandwiches, pasta, and salads. They are a pizza place that serves Italian food. Get the pizza at Imo’s, it is covered in whatever toppings you want and provolone cheese. The provolone makes the pizza great. The salads at Imo’s are not that good. It seems like they use bag lettuce and pile the on the cheese. The house salad dressing is not he best Italian dressing I have had either. It is a sweet Italian , and I don't like sweet stuff on my salad.
Get the Pizza when you go to Imo’s that is the only thing worth getting, but it is one of the best pizzas in St. Louis |
