Hessler’s Pub 11804 Tesson ferry Rd St. Louis, MO 63128
Hessler’s Pub is a place where you can get cheap beer. Hessler’s is the only place I know of where there is Natural Light on tap. The crowd at Hessler’s is people in their 20’s trying to relive their past days of drinking in college and high school. Hessler’s has recently put a stage in one of their room, and they feature karaoke and bands regularly. Hessler’s offers darts, pool, Big Buck Hunter, Golden Tee, and Silver Strike. Prices: $5.50 for a pitcher, and around $3 for mixed drinks. |

Schottzie’s Phone number: 314-842-7244 11428 Concord Village Ave St. Louis, MO 63123
Shotzie’s is a small little bar situated between Lin Ferry and Lindbergh. This place is always packed with people all day long. This place is a local place that serves good food and cold beer. This place has some of the best St. Louis style pizza around. This sauce is sweet and it is very cheesy. This place has a huge menu filled with all of the fried bar favorites, to home style foods like country fried steak and mashed potatoes. This is a definite recommendation to go and get their pizza. It might be the best in St. Louis. |

Klippers Pub and Grill 189 Concord Plaza Shopping Center St. Louis, MO 63128 Phone: 314-842-9400
Klipper’s is the new restaurant where Tsevis’ used to be. They might as well call it Tsevis’ because it is the same menu and same look. The food was still unimpressive. I was never impressed by Tsevis’ when that was there so I am still unimpressed by Klipper’s. I though I would walk in and I would get a whole different feel from the place. I thought they would redo the menu into something more American, and make it into more of a sports bar. But they didn’t, and left the same dark wood paneling up.
First lets start with the bar. We went here looking to have dinner and then stick around at the bar for some drinks also. We ordered drinks with dinner and saw that they were $3.25 for a beer, and decided that after dinner we would go somewhere else that was cheaper, because we were in South County and there is no way a beer should cost $3.25 at a bar like this in South County. I don’t know who they think they are, but people are not going to pay a premium on beer to sit in a place like that.
Prices: $3.25 for a Bud Light, and $5 for a margarita |
